How do I configure an Xbox 360 controller to work on my PC?
I’m using an Xbox 360 wireless controller and the play and charge kit to hook it up to my PC via USB. When I first plugged it in, windows downloaded and installed a driver for it but it still didn’t recognize it as a controller in control panel. I then went to microsofts website and downloaded the “Microsoft Xbox 360 Accesssories Software” but that wont recognize the controller.
I plug in the controller and the lights around the guide button just keep blinking.
I tried disabling the driver in device manager and seeing if the accessories software alone would work but it didn’t.
Any suggestions?
Xbox makes a controller for PC and game system seperately they aren’t interchangeable.
