Turner Wall Accessories Painting

Sunset tides by C. Rossi?
I have this old painting call “sunset tides” by C. Rossi. I can’t find anything about it. On the back of the painting there is a sticker that says it is a ‘Turner Wall Accessory.’ Does anybody now anything about this painting or artist? Please help!
You won’t find any information on this artist because it is a ‘decoration’ painting, the kinds that are done in Europe and Mexico by the thousands and sold through furniture stores or on street corners or at those ‘Original Oil Paintings Starting At $29.95′ sales that you see advertised on TV late at night. And just about every one of them sold has cheap Made in Mexico frames.
You won’t be able to find out anything about the artist because the artists doing these factory-type paintings aren’t allowed to use their own names. Even if you contacted Turner themselves (they are still in business) they wouldn’t know who the artist is because they buy these decoration paintings wholesale.
However, this doesn’t mean that it isn’t a good painting. Many of the ‘factory’ artists who paint these to get paid by the painting are actually pretty good artist. But it does mean it won’t be worth anything to a real art collector.
It’s true value should be in the enjoyment it brings you if you like the painting.
