Nano Ipod Accessories Apple
iPod to Television?
Recently, I received a new 3rd generation Apple iPod nano. I downloaded some TV Shows from the iTunes store, and was wondering if it was possible for me to watch these episodes on a television, without having to buy anything extra.
I found the site:

And it was relatively helpful. I do have the camcorder A/V cable that it mentions int he above link.
Unfortunately, however, whenever I do as it says, and try to connect my ipod to the television, I get the message on my iPod, saying:
Tv Out Enabled
Please Connect Video Accessory
And this comes with a picture of a completely different wire that I need?
Am I doing something wrong? How can I connect my iPod to the TV?

Unfortunently with the newer ipods you cant use this 3rd party cable.
Its because “Apple” wants you to buy their “apple” brand cable. Their cable has some kind of special chip inside that lets you use it.
So no, sorry your going to have to buy an apple cable for it to work.
