Laptop Accessories Toshiba Satellite
What is my laptop worth?
I have a toshiba satellite with a 17 inch screen…nvidia g-force card…2.99Ghz processor…512 mb of RAM and 80 gig hardrive. it has a fan accessory and a CD/DVD burner…inouts for memory SD cards…and the OS is XP. and is in perfect working order…all it needs is a new backlight tube which will be maybe fifty dollars including labor. the computer guy said when this computer was new it was a thousand dollar computer. Is that close to being correct? (picked this up off a relative)
intel duo core processor…and im trying to figure out if it is worth fixing cuz now the guy cant get the small flourescent like tube (like a hard piece of spaghetti) but he said to just get a whole new screen. which runs from 200 to 250. but this seems like worst case scenario i would paying for half of the computer. so im pretty sure this is a good deal

I’d say about $650-700 if you’re really lucky. I’m no professional or anything but those specs are better than my current laptop, which I bought for $400 (which was actually an amazing deal).
If you had more RAM, it would definitely be worth $650-700, without being lucky, though.
