96 Jeep cherokee, won’t start-doesn’t click?
I’ve checked the battery, replaced the starter, starter relay and engine/ignition coil.. It started to die the day before if I let my foot off the gas. Then the following day it had difficulty starting, once started drove 3 minutes, stopped at a gas station came back and it doesn’t turn over, we tried the going from park to neutral, replaced some parts. someone recommended the starter fusible link and the ignition switch…. Anyone have any other ideas? the fan runs and accessories lit, scraped the battery cables, fuel pump is working….help, i’m supposed to tow 3000 lbs across country for moving tomorrow. Please Help.
I had a problem with the alternator once before when my jeep did that. Thought it was the starter and never even thought to check the alternator until my dad and brother looked at it. Weird though.
