How to Update a Ponytail

Accessorize the Ponytail

Use a ribbon to make a nice bow on it, or make a headband out of it.

Shape the Ponytail
There are many ways to shape a ponytail. By using several ponytail holders, you can create a bubble pony that can look amazing for any occasion. Mix it with braids, in strands on the sides or directly the ponytail.

There’s even the possibility to add texture to the hair, by curling the ponytail, or crimping the entire hair before you pull it back.
By getting your hair textured, you’ll get a thicker illusion, and it is also more sophisticated. If the hair already has texture, even a simple ponytail can make a chic hairstyle, without any other special shapes or accessories.
