Guitar Accessories Tuning Pegs
What’s the best way to polish my sons’ guitar?
- getting finger prints off etc. He’s too young to do a proper job (ie/ not a teenager yet) & are there any relatively cheap accessories (pedals etc) that may help him with playing? He pretty much keeps up with his teacher most of the time. He likes being creative & I want to encourage that. He’s been learning for over a year, but last year it was an acoustic.
He now has an electric Ibanez GIO (his is slightly smaller than a normal electric), which the tuning pegs are on both sides & the body is also thinner than normal. It’s 2nd hand btw so came without details.

I live in the country so a music store can be hard to get to at times.

As for pedals. They have cheap pedals by Digitech as well as other less named brands. But it would be worth the investment to get something by Boss, TC-Electronics, or Marshall. That way it won’t break. And your son will always use the pedal. No need to get the same pedal twice. The other brands don’t last nearly as long.
Depending on his amp, he might want a sweet distortion pedal. And if he’s happy with his distortion pedal, then you might want to get a delay, WAH, or flanger pedal. I would say Delay though, it’s a good effect starting pedal.
