where can I buy the best value pool table?

I want to buy a 7 foot pool table for my proposed games room. Where is the best value store/site to get it from? I live in the Burke, VA area. Ideally I want to spend less than $2000 and get the table and accessories, balls, cues, rack, etc.

Be really careful about buying a table over the internet. Especially in the $2000 and under range. While there are some good tables, there’s also a lot of junk out there. Even worse, there are a few companies who have taken people’s money and not shipped their table. Do like you are doing now – and research research research!

I recommend going to your local billiard dealer. You will be able to actually look at the tables’ construction and know if you are dealing with someone reputable or not.

As for online purchases, I recommend LegacyBilliards.com. We carry their product and feel strongly that it’s the best import table for construction and value. We’ve also done a spreadsheet on each of their tables compared to two other online sources and found that once you’ve added all the hidden charges, that they are the cheapest.
