Fashion Accessories Designer Jobs
Why do some people think that children should not be their priority?
More than once at my current job I’ve encountered this. I’ve seen many grandmothers, aunts, sisters, etc. who have taken over the job of mothering a child, or are doing their best to provide for a child when the child’s own mother will not. I’ve seen mothers enter dressed in the latest fashions, with perfect makeup and hair, carrying the latest designer accessories, while their children wear clothing and shoes two sizes too small.
I cannot understand why people don’t put their children first more often. Do you have any insight to offer?
Oh I understand the rate at which children grow, I’m just saying when it’s noticeable that there’s obvious neglect on the need of the child, in order for the parent to be tended to first.
I’ve seen this, too. The only way it makes sense to me is if a mother has to dress for success at her job where she doesn’t make much money, but even that is flimsy. You can get good stuff without spending money on designer handbags.
It is pure neglect. As one of the working poor, my children ALWAYS came first. I would do without in order for them to have. I can’t understand someone who wouldn’t do the same.
