I recently took my 1993 Chevy S10 Blazer to a mechanic to have him look at my air conditioning. What he found out was that my compressor was bad. What he wants to do is take it all out and replace it making a total cost around $900. Buy a compressor yourself, for about ($150.00, be sure to return your old compressor as a “core”).
Install it your self.
Then take it to a discount place to be serviced
The total will be under 200 dollars, guaranteed!
FYI, that is an R-4 compressor, re-builts are cheaper, and just as good!
