How will this aftermarket muffler effect my Honda Civic?
So I’m looking to get a new muffler/exhaust mainly just to get my car (2001 honda civic ex coupe 5 speed) sounding a little better(already have a short ram intake). Call me a ricer, whatever i really don’t care. I’m in college so don’t have 500 bucks to drop on a nice exhaust system. Anyways this is a muffler I’m looking at:

What kind of changes would I be having with this? I’m sure there won’t be much of a HP gain, but will this make a louder exhaust without sounding raspy and high pitched? I’d hope it’d be as deep or deeper tone than stock. If there’s a different exhaust that you know about that would suit what I’m looking for please let me know. Keep in mind I hate 4 inch fart pipes and don’t want to spend much $. Thx
your best bet is looking into the apexi n1 it sounds the best. but like its been said if you are poor, this is not the best investment you could make to your honda right now.
