Apple Ipod Accessories Auto
Will the Griffin iTrip Auto SmartScan (4045-TRPAUTOS) CHARGE the iPod nano 16gb 4th gen.?
I bought an Apple iPod nano 16gb 4th generation player as a gift a couple of days ago.
I would also like buy the Griffin iTrip Auto SmartScan FM transmitter (model #:4045-TRPAUTOS) to go along with it.
My question is will this fm transmitter CHARGE the unit via the cigarette lighter?
I know on Griffins’ website it says it will but read in many places that the newest of the new ipods don’t work with older accessories
(i.e., Don’t charge it but does kick out an fm signal). Looking for anyone who actually uses these 2 products and what experience they had with it’s functionality.Thanks for the help.
I have an iPod Touch 2G and i have a older FM transmitter that does not charge it. I think that if you are buying it from the store and it says it does that it will charge it. But if you are buying it used it most likely will not charge it. It is horrible how Apple changed the port, now i can’t fully use my sirius soloist dock.
