With a built-in 1.3 mega pixel camera, the X830 takes pictures at a resolution of 1280×1024 pixels. The user can apply his creativity on the pictures by using the photo effect feature. The inclusion of features like 4x digital zoom and flash guarantee good quality photographs. Samsung X830 comes with video recording capability and the camera acts as the video recorder. It records videos in the MPEG4 and H.263 formats which can be sent shared with friends via Bluetooth or MMS.
With an embedded memory of 1GB, the phone offers enough memory space for saving images, videos and music files. The built-in memory allows the user to save up to 250 songs on the mobile phone. The phone allows 1,000 phonebook entries and 200 SMS to be saved in the phone memory. Data is transferred over networks via GPRS and EDGE. With GPRS, the phone gains data transfer speeds of 32-48kbps while EDGE delivers data transfer speed of 236.8kbps.
The X830 operates on GSM Tri-Band frequencies and hence has coverage over the Tri Band frequencies all over the world.Samsungs latest mini music phone comes with an innovative MP3 player design.
