Accessories Display Stand
I need help choosing a new monitor which one should it be?
I wanted a monitor with speakers and a height and tilt adjustable stand and more than 1280×1024 resolution for under $200. I found 2 that could fit the job which one should I buy:

My current monitor is a dell 19 inch, 1280 x 1024 resolution, with a tilt adjustable stand but not height, and no speakers.
Should I get the higher resolution monitor or the lower resolution monitor? I dont do anything that would require a very high resolution but it would be nice to have.
Put simply, The higher resolution the better. Although you could probably find that monitors that you can purchase nowadays from your local harvey norman can support up to 1440×900 easilly and still be around the 250$ mark.
You also may find that monitors now don’t have “Speakers” But most of them will have a set built in. Otherwise buy yourself a decent screen and pay 25$ for a pair of logitech speakers that will pwn any monitor speaker and won’t provide magnetic disturbance to your monitor.
