HID lighting system gives about three times more light output as compared to light given by standard halogen headlights though using less energy. It is the latest technique in the lighting of automobiles. In this xenon and other elements fill up the bulb instead of filament being used in other bulbs. The excited gas electro photo discharge is utilized for light emission by combination of spectral components after excitation of gas between two electrodes. This happens in a small capsule that is filled with xenon gases and halide salts. After application of high voltage ignition of gas occurs and the atoms cool down in energy and start radiating light according to their atomic properties. The amount of light emitted depends upon the amount of voltage and power applied. BMW Headlights in association with Xenon HID conversions give more improved visibility which is the first preference of every safety conscious person driving on roads. They are easy to install either in new ones or in case of replacements. In both the cases the Xenon Conversions kits are combined to the projector headlamps to make the visibility clear even during bad weathers and rainy nights. Thus they help in safe, smooth and peaceful ride.
